Dysylumn has quickly climbed to the top of my favourite Metal bands. I thought "Occultation" was a genius piece of work but "Cosmogonie"'s sheer brilliance and length is by no means a fair comparison. This is a monument to French BM and to Metal, Un chef d'oeuvre remarquable, pertinent, qui saura resister au temps et aux modes.

It is, quite simply, mindblowingly amazing. So many bands try to deliver trance-like experiences within a black metal framework but óreida actually succeeds. And how. There should be a picture of this album next to the word 'immersive' in the illustrated dictionary.
